Amigas

At Adventure Amigas, we believe that every mujer deserves the chance to experience adventure, regardless of her access to gear.

Your donation of gently used outdoor equipo helps us make our adventureras more accessible to all amigas, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to exploring the outdoors.

What We Need

While we’re open to receiving any outdoor gear in gently used and good working condition, estas son las cosas our amigas need most:

  • Sleeping Bags - Rated 20 degrees F or lower (para las friolentas) with down fill, marcas que nos gustan: Big Agnes, Marmot, Sea to Summit

  • Sleeping Pads - Insulated, self-inflating, 3”+ thickness
    marcas que nos gustan: Therma-Rest, Nemo, Sea to Summit

  • Tents - 3 season, with rainfly, 1 or more vestibules, and footprint
    marcas que nos gustan: Kelty, Marmot, North Face

FAQs

  • Gear should be gently used and in safe, working condition. Check that all accessories are included, rips and holes are smaller than a dime and patchable, and all zippers and moving parts are functioning.

  • Yes, we also accept financial contributions. You can donate below!

  • After filling out the intake form, we will contact you to arrange a time to meet and receive your dontations in Los Angeles and Riverside Counties.

We’re building a Gear Garaj — a “garage of gear” that amigas can borrow from when they don’t have their own.

Adventure Amigas lends out this gear, making it easy for amigas to explore without needing to buy all the equipment upfront.

This keeps our adventures inclusive and sustainable for all!

How We Use the Gear
